Agility Labels

Welcome to the new and improved Agility Labels.

Whats new? :
Well except from the obvious facelift, we heard your requests and suggestions and we listened! We payed extra attention to the part that matters most to you, the looks and the flow. We understand how important labels are, so we aimed to make the process as painless as possible for you!
But this doesn't mean it comes at the cost of lost features, below are the currently support the following search fields;
  1. Stock Code
  2. Description
  3. Barcode
  4. Category
  5. Price changed after Date
  6. Price changed on Date
  7. Price changed between Date
  8. Promotion
  9. PO Number

Agility Labels Settings Screen

We aimed to make the program as handsoff for you as possible. And we think we did a good job on that! The only things you will need to change are found in the settings screen

If the symbols dont make much sense, dont worry! To explain what each section is doing. The top one is selecting a printer for the label types, below that is the templates for the labels. Finally the very bottom menu is for you to play with and set it up as you wish, changing the default menu allows you to go directly to printing or to search for items! Additionally we thought it would be a nice finishing touch to add some custom themes for you to choose from, while we love the themes we've made we definitely have a soft spot for the dark theme.
If you are coming straight from Agility Pro label printing, please reassign all the printers. Otherwise this will cause issues and prevent printing

Agility Labels Search Screen

To begin, when you enter this screen you wont be able to search for anything, thats because you need to choose what you want to search by, lets go with description first (we wont be covering every type)

Now this new box has appeared, we can start searching! Once we've typed something, we can either hit the search button to the right, or hit enter (this only works with search fields that let you type)

Now we have a grid of things to choose from, but we dont want to send all of them to queue! Lets choose the stock code "T011-X100P" as an example, I want to send 15 of them to the queue, well that's simple!
We increase the "Amount" number that's found at the top, click on the stock code line we want and make sure "Current Selected Item" matches the stock code. Finally we hit "Item to Queue" at the top. It'll ask us to confirm the amount and after we do it'll be in the print menu!

(If you dont want to see these popups, just hit the "Skip Confirmation" tick box to silence most of them)

Agility Labels Print Screen

Et Voila! We have the item we wanted in the print queue ready to fire off and print! But wait a second, we didnt want to print that many! Well very simple, we can use the exact same steps as before just for removing, click on the item -> change amount to remove -> Click remove and click accept.

Now unlike Agility, item print types are linked to the stock code, we now print our queues to one label type! Say we had a large shelf label item, but we want to print 100 of them as tags, easy! Click the "Current Label Type" dropdown menu and you'll be able to choose, it'll match with the printer and label templates you assigned earlier and print like that.

Once you hit the print button a little box will appear in the middle, meaning it's beginning to print.
If it does not print, please contact support via our helpdesk
Once you are finished, the old prompt that checks if everything printed correctly wont appear anymore, it's up to you if you want to clear the queue or print the same labels again

Agility Labels Bullet Point Instructions

  1. If this is your first time opening agility labels, please change the printers and templates in the screen, if you don't do this, this can result in later issues.
  2. Go to search and use a search type you would like, description, category, stockcode etc NOTE Using the All field will cause performance to slow to a halt. Please be patient
  3. Once you have selected the item(s) you would like, send them to queue. This will make them appear on the Print screen
  4. Head over to the print screen, this will show you the current queue of items and the amount.
  5. Select the print type, eg Standard labels, Tag labels etc.
  6. Press the print button. The labels should print
  7. If you wish, clear the queue, however the queue will remain after printing

Troubleshooting

As we've made the program extremely simplistic, there are only a few things that could go wrong. Please check the below
  1. Check your printer is set correctly
  2. Check your label template is set correctly
  3. Ensure the products you are picking have all the required information (Description, case type, price)
If none of these work, contact support at helpdesk@agility-software.com
