AIM - Template Repository

In this article, we will be introducing you to the new AIM Template Repository, how it works and if you are interested, how to submit your templates for others to use (and what Suppliers we currently support!)

Overview

The AIM Template Repository is exactly what it says on the tin, it is a Repository, or "Collection" of Templates for suppliers we can guarantee will work out of the box. The templates have been thoroughly tested and are available at any time (Granted you don't have that supplier setup already on your system!)

It works based off of a "Global AIM ID". As each site will have their own naming system for their Supplier codes, we will create and list below the code and the name of the supplier, so you can link the 2 together. If we detect a Supplier is setup for AIM, but doesn't have a Template on your system, it will check the Repository for a Template, if one is available, it'll bring it down and begin scanning invoices for you.

Currently Support Suppliers

At the time of writing this, we don't have any prepared yet, as we need plenty more time to stress test the templates we currently have available! But once we have some ready, we will begin to fill in the table shown below

Global AIM ID
Supplier Name

How to Contribute to the Repository

If you're interested in getting the template you made verified and available for everyone else, the process for doing so is rather simple

Begin by sending us an email to our helpdesk, helpdesk@agility-software, letting us know the Supplier Code that you think is suitable for the Repository. We'll do some further verification ourself, including checking your AIM records to see the Success rate, the amount of times the Supplier has been processed (We look for around 50 minimum, however this figure may be adjusted), testing it on our Test Systems and further visual inspection of the template

After which, we'll reply back to let you know the verdict of our Verification. If successful, we'll in addition let you know the new AIM Global ID for that template (so you can keep your records aligned if you wish) and whether or not you'd like your name on the table above (Completely Optional, we accept "Anonymous" contributions!)
