Stock - Browse Non Movements

INTRODUCTION

Overtime a company could have stock listed on their file that they no longer sell or there have been no movement on the stock and may need to clear these down.
In Agility it is not possible to delete stock codes if there has been a movement on this either a sale or a purchase.
The stock management procedure is as follows:

BROWSE NON MOVEMENTS

Navigate to Stock - Browse None Movements and the screen below opens.
The data in the grid can be exported to excel\CSV for analysis but no way to import

No Movement Since: The date where there has been no movement

Default To: Suspend, Closed or None If the SAVE button is pressed this is what will happen to the codes

Preferred Supplier: Can only search for codes linked to suppliers

Depot: Can be specific to a Depot

Type: There can be different stock types so the search can be used for this also but default = S

Department, Category, Group, Type and Location: Search by these filters

Incl. suspended stock: Will retrieve suspended stock also if required
Exclude items with No Movements: IF the user only wants to see current stock with movements against them.
Ecommerce Only: Agility can integrate to websites and this will only return codes flagged for ecommerce.

The form provides information when the code was created and the last move date

Cannot close a code if there is a quantity assigned to it.

The qty needs to be set to 0 first or suspend.

Before pressing save to change all codes to suspended check this is correct first

SUSPEND

IF, the item is no longer going to be purchased the change the status of the code from open to Suspend.
What this does it enables the product to be sold but not purchased.
When suspending there can be a quantity assigned.
This also is removed from the browse stock but a tick box is available if looking for suspended stock.
This is to improve the search and speed of retrieving the data.

CLOSE

To close an item this then removes it from the browse stock screen completely.
The code cannot be closed it there is a quantity assigned to this either negative or positive and if there are outstanding Purchase Orders.
Do a stock take to get the value to 0 and close any open Purchase orders for the goods.
