Change Label Type - Zebra Desktop Printer

To switch between different label types for a Zebra Desktop, start by opening the Zebra Setup Utilities on the PC that the printer is connected to:

 

Once open, make sure the printer is highlighted and then click Configure Printer Settings:

Make sure the Width and Height are set to the correct sizes and then click Next:

Leave Speed and darkness as the default values and click Next:

If the labels being used are black mark, select mark Sensing:

If the labels are gap labels, then select Web Sensing:

Once the correct Media Type has been chosen, untick the Continue wizard with advanced settings tick box and click next:

Then click Finish:

The 

Now go to Open printer Tools:

Click on the Acton tab and then Calibrate Media and then click Send:

The printer should feed a few labels while it calibrates to the new media type.

Once done, if the green light continues to flash, power the printer off and then back on, The green light should now go solid and the labels should print correctly.
