UPDATE STOCK PRICES

Import Stock Prices Update

  1. Create a CSV file with the following information
  1. Stkcode, Supplier, Buyprice, BuyCasetypeSalePrice , EcommPriceSaleCaseType
    If doing both Buy and Sale then create CSV as above otherwise remove fields if only doing buy or sale
    NOTE Ecommprice can also be updated

  1.  Go to Tools>Tools Menu>Imports>Stock Prices – To change prices only
  1. Are you continuing with import from previous data load
    This question is in case these has been an import and there were some errors that needed resolving.
    By selecting yes the previous file will populate the grid to import again
  2. If not continuing select NO
  1. The form opens for the fields that are on the CSV file to be added to the right column

  1. These MUST match exactly 
    1. Select the field in the order of the csv file
    2. If, column headers are in the csv select Ignore Column Headers
  2. On the form in the top left is the word FILE from here the format that has been added to the right column can be saved so that there is no need to repeat the action
    To save a format Select FILE>Save>Enter a name SalePriceBuyPriceEComm etc
    To open select File>Open and select format required
    If CSV has column headers select ignore
    NOTE the saved file does remember this so check before importing
  3. A new form opens and for SALE PRICE there are 2 options NETT or GROSS.


NOTE: The date only changes for the buy price if the user wanted to have a future pricing this will not work.

  1. Select how the import needs to add the sale Price
  1. If dates are not selected the new prices will be applied from today’s date
    If dates is selected then choose when the new prices start and end






Now select import


Confirm the dates the prices start and end
The code does not let you know when it has been completed.
Check the processed field against the number of records at the top left hand corner

Select Exit to close the program.
If, future dates have been used then in the stock item maintenance screen buy price tab will have the future date recorded there but in the sale price tab, select the future price and the change is there also. These will be applied on those dates.

NOTE:
Please be aware that the price from does not get updated only the price till.
If the price from needs amending than the user will have to remove the price manually and add again which would then create a new from date.
