Agility Pro has the facility to set up Repairs for customers, this can be used for example if a customer drops of some garden shears that need sharpening and the shears are sent away, sharpened and then collected and paid for by the customer.
To use this feature, the REPAIR stock code must be set up as a service item:
And selected via EPOS System Parameters:
Once the above have been set, a repair can be created by going to the till and inputting the REPAIR stock code:
Then type a description for the repair:
Send the repair to a collection:
A customer name, two lines of their address, phone number and Area Code are mandatory:
Click the deliver/collect box, and then Save:
If a deposit is required for the repair, input it, if not just proceed by clicking Accept:
Click Yes to the Prompt:
And the Complete Collection: (or Amend if any details need altering)
Then subtotal, and take payment if there is a deposit or zero payment if the charge is to be on collection:
You will then be prompted to print a repair label:
This can then be stuck to the item, so it can be identified when it returns from the repair.
This requires another printing piece of software to be installed and configured on each PC that is to issue repairs
When the Repair is ready to be collected by the customer, open the collections screen:
Locate the repair, and at this point a charge can be added for how much the repair is to cost.
To add a cost, click on the Repair line and then click Add Item:
Input your UserID:
And search for the stock code Repair and say yes to the prompt:
A description must be added:
Then input the price you wish to charge (the red arrow can be used to make the price ex or inc VAT):
Then click Add Line, choose if you wish to print a new collection statement to show the repair charge, and then Close:
Then click Finalize:
Click Yes:
Then the sale will appear in the till screen, and can be charged to the customer by the chosen payment method:
