Create a New Bank Account 

 

INTRODUCTION 

Agility provides the function to have multiple bank accounts that reflect the business, Current Account, Deposit etc. 

 

CREATE A BANK ACCOUNT 

Bank accounts are linked to Nominal Codes, and this will need to be created first, go to: 

Nominal>Ledger Maintenance>Nominal Ledger Accounts 

Bank accounts start normally B17000 so scroll down to where the other bank codes are and record the DR and CR Groups normally B35 and B55

Select the ADD button 

Leave as Balance Sheet Account 

Account Type@ Select Banks Account 

Account Number: Choose a number starting B17??? So, they are grouped together 

DR & CR: Previously mentioned B35/B55 

Description: How to identify the account 

Select ADD 

 

 

 

 

 

To create a bank account is straight forward, go to: 

Nominal>Ledger Maintenance>Cash Book Accounts 

 

 

 

Code: New Bank Code 

Name: Name of Bank 

Currency: Self-Explanatory 

Type: Select from drop down 

Default Nominal: The nominal code previously created
