Email Address is not carrying a valid ending



In the error message where it is showing a colon on the line after the email, it means when the customers details were originally imported into the system there was an Enter/Return at the end of the email address so it has added an extra line and made the email address invalid.

In the example below, the table shows how the email address looks with an Enter/Return at the end and how it looks without:

The first email address has a blank line below it, because I hit enter on my keyboard after typing it, the second email address is just the email address and is valid. 

To fix the issue, in Agility go to Sales-Ledger Maintenance- Customer Details and search for the customer. Go to both the Contacts tab and the Web/Email tab and remove the customers email address that is giving the error so that the email field shows as blank (either make a note of it or copy it into Notepad), and then Save the Customer Details. Now search for the customer again and type the email address back in in both the Contacts and the Web/Email tab, this will remove the hidden extra line and make the email address valid again.
