When raising a ticket, it is always helpful to include a screenshot of any error messages, or issues.
There are a few different ways to do this:
Windows Key + Shift + S
Pressing these three keys at the same time will activate the Windows Snip & Sketch tool, this will dim your screen and change the mouse pointer to crosshairs that can be use to draw a rectangle around the error message and capture it as a screenshot.
This screenshot is then saved to your clipboard, and can be pasted into an email to helpdesk@agility-software.com to open a new ticket. The screenshot will also appear in the Windows notification shade, which can be accessed by clicking on the bottom left hand corner of the screen, where the time/date are:
The screenshot can then be clicked and opened from here, resized and saved.
Print Screen
The Print Screen key on the keyboard can also be used to take screenshots, pressing this key will take a full screen screenshot. if you are using multiple monitors, it will capture all of the screens. The Print Screen key can be found on the top right of most keyboards, to the right of the F12 Function Key. It is sometimes called PrtScn.
Pressing the Print Screen key will capture a full screen screenshot and save it to your clipboard, this can then be pasted into an email and sent as a ticket.
Pressing the Windows key + Print Screen
will save the screenshot in your Screenshots folder, which can normally be be found in the Pictures/Screenshots folder of your computer.
