Guide

After logging in with your EPOS ID, you'll be presented with the following screen and alert message, if you wish to create PO's for multiple suppliers, select 'Yes' to allow any supplier, however if you select 'No' and press confirm, an alert will appear prompting you to select the supplier you wish to make a PO against.

Please Note : If you select a single supplier, the item search will be restricted to just that supplier

Now we can start creating our purchase order, the first screen we see is called the 'PO Creation Screen', this is where we'll search for items and declare the quantities we want to order. Searching for an item has been dramatically improved since our previous revision, not only can you simply scan a barcode and immediately have the item picked up, but bluetooth barcode scanners are now compatible with it (see our website blog for more info!)

Searching for a stock code / barcode that exactly matches will present the following screen

Here we want to declare the quantity, after hitting confirm you'll see that the item has had it's quantity (the big number next to 'In Stock') updated

If at any point we want to view further information about the stock item, PRESS and HOLD on it to bring up 'Quick Info'

After we've declared all the items we want to order, hit the arrow in the top right corner next to the 'i'. This will bring up a list of all the suppliers we're making PO's for, with the items tucked away. To view the items, on the right side hit the 'i', this will open a box below the top of the PO and expand to show all items inside, like below

Once we're happy with the items, we hit the 'Save' button to create a draft PO. We'll be prompted to select the depot for delivery, you can set this as default to the selected value so you don't get prompted for this again.

You'll be asked one more time if you wish to continue, hitting Confirm will create a draft PO and display a notification like below

Hitting confirm will change the Order in the list to be marked as saved, along with the PO number

After that, you can open this PO in Agility Pro to finalise it or amend it.

If at any point you want to change the default depot, or you want to completely restart the creation process. Hit the 'i' button on the PO Creation Screen. This will open an Information panel like shown below.

That about covers everything, heres some key notes of what we covered

Key Points

  1. If we are creating a PO for a specific supplier, the item search will be for items that are only associated to them
  2. Pressing the 'i' in the PO Creation screen will bring up information about the Supplier, and give us options such as Change Default Depot and Restart PO.
  3. When the app finds the exact stock code / barcode you scanned or searched for. It'll bring it in automatically for you
  4. Hitting the 'i' in the PO Save screen will bring a drop down of the items on the PO
  5. You can PRESS and HOLD at any point during the process to view further information about the item
  6. You can exit the app on one device and login on another and continue exactly where you left off, as long as you're using the same EPOS ID
