Stock - Cyclic Stock Take

INTRODUCTION

There are many ways to change stock levels in Agility Professional and one way is a cyclic stock take.
This option is getting looked at to prevent the need to of a year end stock take at the end of the financial year.
This options lets the user choose what is being counted e.g. Supplier, Category, Group etc.

SECURITY

In group access rights under Stock select:
Cyclic Stock Take True
Interim Stock Take
Process Cyclic Stock Take True or False for each group.

CREATING A CYCLIC TAKE

To create a take go to Stock - Adjustments - Create or Amend Cyclic Stock Take


Filters on the form:

Not all filters need to be used.
Name: MUST have a Name ONLY 20 Characters
Process repeats every ?? weeks: 0 - 20 weeks
Date Range: These can be set in the future
Beginning On: 23\12\2022
Next Run Date: If process repeats is 1 week then this would be 30\12\2022
Department: If these are set up enter the code or search
Bin Location: If these are set up enter the code or search
Product Category: If these are set up enter the code or search
Product Group: If these are set up enter the code or search
Product Type: If these are set up enter the code or search
Supplier: If none of the above are created then by supplier is the way to go
Depot: MUST be set. If the system has multiple depots then select which depot it is for
Stock Type: MUST be set. Standard stock types are S= Standard, R= Purchase Return Stock
User To Notify: 
Remind me ?? day(s) before report is done - Select 

As in ALL forms in Agility when right mouse clicking on the search icon this form open where the user can enter the name of:
Supplier, Department, Product Category etc.


Select OK and this will return ALL records matching the search criteria








The above form will displays the matching results
Select the one required

BUTTONS

Generate Now: Before pressing this button save the cyclic take first.
If this message appears then save the take and do it again

Select View Items and then press this button and the following message appears


View Stock Items: When this is selected ALL codes that match the search filters will be displayed
Press again to hid form

Delete: This deletes the stock take in the form
WARNING once pressed no messages will appear but the take is deleted

New: Clears the form so a new take can be crated

Save: Saves the cyclic stock take

Select YES
Close: Closes the form

PROCESS CYCLIC TAKE

Once the take has been created this can be applied by the Cyclic Stock Take APP - coming soon
Or if Agility Assistant is being used via the inventory - See Agility Assistant Document
Or by going to Stock - Adjustments - Process Cyclic Stock Take and the following form opens:


This lists ALL Cyclic Stock Takes 

BUTTONS

Select: Select the take to be viewed\counted
Select the take from the list and this will then open the Interim Stock Take Form


USER ID: User Enters their credentials
Counted Stock: Enter the quantity counted
Reconcile ALL: Press this button to APPLY the counted values.

Select YES to APPLY

Select OK

Returning back to stock take list the take is no longer there

Print: Feature under development
Exit: Closes the form
