Create a Department

INTRODUCTION

Departments are linked to the finacials and stock so the business can see how that department is doing. For example the company may create a department Electrical and then linked to this could be stock categories White Goods, Fuse Boards etc.

Create a Department

To Create a department navigate to Tools - Tools Menu - Companies - Analysis and Reporting Codes - Depatments
The below screen opens


Go to the blank line and enter the code and description
Keep going until all departments are created.
Now press the X in the top right corner and the user will be asked to save the changes select YES

Departments are now created.
