Security - User Details
INTRODUCTION
When a user is created in Agility they are going to be a person who logs in with credentials to access the Back Office or a till user who only access functionality with their UserId.
Setting up a user currently is done by Agility but a till user can be done by someone in the company with the security to do so.
USER DETAILS
Go to Tools - Tools Menu - Security - User Details
Select the user from the drop down
Explanation of the Screen
UserID
All users will be in the this list
First and Surname
These need to be completed as Agility checks for this information in certain parts of the software
Email
Agility has an integrated email function and this is ONLY used if the emails want to be seen that the came from them.
Email Password
This is what is used for the user when their account is created. User will need to get from whoever creates their accounts
Telephone Number and Extension
Self Explanatory
Sale Grace Limit and Purchase Order Limit
This is if the company wants to restrict how much a user can sell and buy
User ID
This is used to access many areas of the software and has to be unique
Line and Total Margin Limit
This is used if the company want to restrict the margin a user can sell to
Restrict Discount % to
Restricts the user discounting above a value.
Max Sale Allowed
This is there as there have been times when users have scanned a barcode for a quantity i.e 5000
Location
Used if company has different locations
Cheque Amount Limit and Authorise Cheque Receipts

Discount Balance

Process Aged Debt Email
Determines if a user can press the process button the auto emailing screen aged debt
Run Email Queues
If set the user will trigger email queues when the queue parameter determines
Overide EPOS Lift

Exclude Version Test

User Default Reports Only

Authorise to discount below Min Margin
Self Explanatory
No Sale Authorisation
User needs to get permission to open the cash drawer
Delivery System Controller
Normally this is one user in the company who manages the deliveries
There are different functions that other users can have:
1, Display Only - User can only view the delivery screen
2. Full Control - User has full access
3. Allocate Only - User can allocate a delivery
Re-Delivery User
A user can allow a sale to be allocated to the delivery system after the sale
This could be used when a customer takes out goods then realises they cannot get them in the vehicle
System Upgrade
Allows a user to upgrade the software when a new version is rolled out.
Mailserver Administrator
This is no longer supported
Allow Stock Adjustments
This gives permissions to users adjusting stock and there are 3 choices:
1. No Adjustments
2. Full Adjustments
3. Investigate Only
View E-commerce Only Stock
Self Explanatory
Download new e-commerce transactions
User can download transactions from website into the delivery system
Group
Assign a user to a group for additional security

Applies how much the user can get discount on their account
