INTRODUCTION
When doing Sales Orders or Invoices Direct to do a credit the user needs to go to Sales - Issue Credit Note
From here the look and feel is the same as the other screens like Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Direct Invoices etc.
Issue Credit Note
The user needs to o to Sales - Issue Credit Note and the following screen opens:
The user enters their eposid and searches for the customer to do a credit for.
Explanation of the buttons
ADD ITEM
This is the same as other screens
Search for the code and enter the qty if doing a credit with linking it to other sales.
DELETE LINE
Deletes a line/rows from the credit screen
ADD CHARGE
Adds a delivery charge or whatever charge that has been set up in Agility for Sales
SAVE CREDIT
Saves the credit once the user is happy all items have been entered manually or linked to an associated invoice.
CLEAR
Clears the Credit Screen
Layout
Changes what the user sees after columns have been moved around and then the button pressed
Associated Invoice
By pressing this button the user will be able to choose invoices that need to be credited or select items in the invoice that need to be credited.
The customer account needs to be selected prior to this being pressed.
By pressing the search glass the user will get a list of invoices
From here the user can see that some are linked to deliveries also.
Select the DETAILS button and the user will see what is on the invoice
When the invoice is selected the codes are returned to the screen where the quantity to be refunded can be changed.
If all items are to be returned in the grid then press Select ALL, in this example there is only one code
In the column Qty to Credit enter the quantity to be returned and press OK
Now press Save Credit.
User has to enter a reason code.
