Stock - Stock Item Maintenance - Analysis 2 Tab
INTRODUCTION
When selling items there may be times when those items can have an additional item recommended to be sold with him.
An example of this may be when selling a ton of cement and this is done on a pallet and therefore the user may need to add the pallet to invoice.
Another example may be selling aggregate and the user may need to sell a bag but if the customer has a trailer and the aggregate is going to be loaded instead then the user can cancel the recommended linked code.

LINKED CODE
Open stock item maintenance\Analysis(2) Tab
Search for the code that is to be linked
Qty to sell - Enter the quantity to sell when the main code is being sold
Qty on which to link - When set the user will only be prompted when this qty is in the sale for the main code
Linked Case Type - This has to be selected
SELLING the ITEM
Now the code has been set up when a customer brings the item to the till, they will be prompted to sell the item.
If the user selects YES the item will be added to the sale, if NO it will not.
Process the sale as normal.
PROFESSIONAL PESTICIDE PRODUCT
If, a product is as the above and this needs to be recorded at the POS then first tick the flag "Track Batch Numbers"
Now navigate to Analysis2 tab and tick the flag:
NOTE: As this is tracked item then when GIN are done a number will need to be added as this is required when selling the item.
If there is stock movement against this then it cannot be ticked and support will need to be informed.

Selling the Product
After entering the amount of money to be taken the batched tracked sales screen appears where the user has to select the batch numbers from the products:
This example the user has picked 1 of each batch number.
The user now has to record the Herd/Professional Users Number
If the number is not recorded:
Select OK
If a Cash Sale is being done then a name and address will need to be recorded also.
If, phone numbers have been recorded then this can be searched on by entering 3 digits in the Telephone field
